I grew up on an old back road, in a white house surrounded by a white picket fence. I spent my time rolling around in the grass, and singing to the cows in our barn. And that’s how I became who I am today.
I am now pursuing a degree in Agriculture Journalism and Mass Communications and a minor in Women’s Studies at Iowa State University. Growing up in a rural setting, where family was the most important aspect of life truly helped me to define myself and who I want to be. I am ever so thankful for my family. I would not be where I am today without them, their support, and their love.
