Today I am finally heading home to be with my family during this hard time. I was surprised to hear from many people, students and professors alike, shock that I was going home. I have been asked, “why would you go home?” and “what are you going to do?”

To these questions, I can calmly say, family is my core. Without my family I have no idea where I would be.

Family is my core. Agriculture is my passion. And these two things together are my entire being.
